Bad Bison Games ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Sports Takes mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email from those services.

User Content: We collect the content you post, including text, images, and videos you share through the App.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you use the App, including pages viewed, features used, and interactions with content.

Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms.

• Public Content: Your posts, username, display name, and profile picture are visible to all App users.
• Service Providers: We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication. Their privacy policy applies to data stored on their servers.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

5. Your Rights

• Access, correct, or delete your account and data.
• Download a copy of your data.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.
• Delete your account at any time through the App settings.
• Data Deletion: If you cannot access the app and wish to have your account and data completely deleted from our servers, please email sportstakesapp@gmail.com.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 17. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 17, we will delete it promptly.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses ESPN's publicly available sports data API for scores, schedules, and team information. We do not share your personal information with ESPN.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email.

Terms of Service

Welcome to Sports Takes, operated by Bad Bison Games. By using our App, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use the App. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One person, one account. Do not create multiple accounts.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting content, you grant Bad Bison Games a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the App.

Content Guidelines:

• Keep it fun. This is meant for lighthearted sports commentary.
• No hate speech, threats, or harassment targeting individuals or groups.
• No spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation.
• No posting of others' private information.
• No sexually explicit content or graphic violence.
• No impersonation of other people or organizations.

4. Reporting and Moderation (UGC Policy)

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

Users are provided with in-app tools to flag and report inappropriate content, as well as block abusive users. Any content flagged by users or our moderation team that violates our community guidelines will be removed within 24 hours, and the offending user will be permanently banned from the platform.

5. Intellectual Property

The Sports Takes name, logo, and App design are the property of Bad Bison Games. Team names, logos, and sports data displayed in the App are the property of their respective leagues and organizations, displayed under fair use for commentary purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of sports data, or that the App will meet your expectations.

7. Limitation of Liability

Bad Bison Games shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed $100.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
